Raafat Mohammad

Raafat Mohammad is a Syrian football coach and former defender, born on July 6, 1977, in Daraa, Syria. He played for clubs including Al-Jaish, Al-Wahda, Shabab Al-Ordon, and had a loan spell with Chornomorets Odesa. He represented the Syria national team from 2002 to 2008, earning 28 caps and scoring one goal in a friendly against Oman in December 2005.

After retiring as a player, he became a coach. He has led teams such as Al-Wahda, Al-Jaish, and Syria’s U23 team. In January 2023, he was appointed head coach of Ahed in Lebanon.
