Calycopis isobeon, also known as the dusky-blue groundstreak, is a butterfly found in the Americas, from Venezuela to central Texas. It belongs to the Lycaenidae family. It looks a lot like Calycopis cecrops, the red-banded hairstreak, and some scientists consider the two to be the same species. Scientific classification: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Arthropoda; Class Insecta; Order Lepidoptera; Family Lycaenidae; Genus Calycopis; Species C. isobeon. It was first described in 1872 by Butler and H. Druce.
