Hylicinae

Hylicinae is a subfamily of leafhoppers in the insect family Cicadellidae. Members are moderately robust and range from brownish to greyish. They feed on dicot trees and shrubs. Hylicinae is mainly found in the Afrotropical and Indomalayan regions. The subfamily has three tribes: Hylicini, Melliolini, and Sudrini.
