Stojan Lukić
Stojan Lukić (born 28 December 1979) is a Swedish football goalkeeper who plays for Varbergs BoIS in the Superettan. He was born in Stockholm to Serbian parents and moved with his family to Halmstad when he was 15.
Lukić began his career with IF Leikin, then played for IS Halmia, Högaborgs BK, and Landskrona BoIS. In 2007 he joined Assyriska FF, where he was the starting goalkeeper and helped the team win promotion, but left Södertälje early because he couldn’t settle there. He returned to the Halland region and commuted to Falkenberg to play for Falkenbergs FF, where he impressed with a strong save percentage.
After five years with Falkenbergs, he earned a move to the Allsvenskan with Halmstads BK ahead of the 2013 season. On 4 January 2019 it was announced that Lukić would continue at Örgryte IS as a player-assistant under manager Thomas Askebrand, while remaining a registered player. He left Örgryte at the end of 2019 and joined Varbergs BoIS in February 2020 on a one-year deal. He wears the number 42 for Varbergs BoIS.
