Asen Kisimov, also known as Asen Angelov, was a Bulgarian actor, singer and radio presenter. He was born on May 3, 1936, in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and died on July 13, 2005, in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria.

Over his career (1955–2005), he appeared in about 30 films and performed on stage. He is best known for singing songs on the soundtracks of two children’s films: The Hedgehogs' War (1979) and Vasko da Gama ot selo Rupcha (1986).

His notable films include Be Happy, Ani! (1961), The Kindest Person I Know (1973), Something Out of Nothing (1979), and Monday Morning (1966, released 1988). He was also a popular stage actor and hosted the long-running radio program “An hour of the audience” on Bulgarian National Radio for about 40 years. He was affectionately called Bate Asen.
