Prescott Rural High School
Prescott Rural High School is a historic school building in Prescott, Kansas. It sits at 202 West 4th Street. The main building was built in 1924 and has also been called Prescott Elementary School. It was designed by architect Ray L. Gamble in an Early Commercial style with some Mission/Spanish Revival details. The building measures about 108 by 96 feet and was expanded with rear additions around 1950 and again in 1961. The site covers about 4 acres. In 2008, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of a group of public schools in Kansas.
