Play! was a planned pavilion at Epcot, Walt Disney World, in the World Discovery area. It would have been an interactive, futuristic city where guests could meet and interact with Disney characters. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the project featured a 65-foot-tall geodesic dome, covered about 100,000 square feet, and a budget of about $123 million. It was slated to open in 2021, replacing the Wonders of Life pavilion in Future World. Plans included meet-and-greets with characters like Wreck-It Ralph and Baymax. However, the pavilion missed its opening window and never opened. In January 2023, it was removed from EPCOT maps, and Disney said the concept was being reevaluated. Since then, there has been no progress, and the project is canceled.
