Petros Mantalos (born 31 August 1991 in Komotini) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for AEK Athens, which he captains, and for the Greece national team. He began his career with Skoda Xanthi, making 81 league appearances and scoring 12 goals from 2009 to 2014. In 2014 he moved to AEK Athens for about €500,000, helping the club rebuild after relegation.

Mantalos quickly became a key player for AEK. He debuted for the club in the 2014–15 season, and after a serious ACL injury in March 2015 he returned to help AEK win promotion and establish themselves in the top division. He captained the team in the Greek Cup final in 2015, scoring in the 2–1 win over Olympiacos and earning the MVP award.

After an injury-hit spell in 2017, he regained form and helped AEK win the Greek league title in 2017–18, their first since 1994, while also competing in Europe. He signed a contract extension as the club rebuilt and continued to be a creative force, often providing double-digit assists in recent seasons. In 2020 there were reports of interest from abroad, but he stayed with AEK, and in March 2021 he extended his contract to 2024. In May 2021 he scored a late goal to help AEK reach the Europa Conference League play-offs.

Internationally, Mantalos debuted for Greece on 7 September 2014 against Romania. He scored his first international goal on 7 June 2016 against Australia, and added another later that year against Cyprus. He has earned over 70 caps and scored several goals for Greece.
