Level 3 (Last Chance to Reason album)
Level 3 is the third studio album by progressive metal band Last Chance to Reason. Like the previous album, it is a concept album. The band announced Level 3 on Facebook on June 20, 2013 and released it on August 6, 2013 through Prosthetic Records. A music video for the song "The Escapist" was released on June 21, 2013. In an interview with New Noise Magazine, vocalist Michael Lessard said Level 3 is a slight continuation of Level 2, but not all about video games. It follows the same character moving from the second dimension into the third, but with a new, more complex story. The writing process was similar, but with different musicians, which changed the creativity and required more online collaboration due to distance.
