The Pastoral Review is an international Catholic journal for priests, deacons, and lay ministers. It has been in publication since 1931 and is issued by Tablet Publishing Co. in England. It was previously known as Clergy Review and later Priests & People.

Editors have included David Sanders, followed in early 2005 by Michael Hayes (who also led the School of Theology, Philosophy, and History and later held roles at St Mary’s University and other institutions) until his death in 2017. From April 2017 to June 2022, the editor was Anthony Towey. The current editor is Ashley Beck, based at St Mary’s University.

There was an unrelated publication with the same name about pastoral and agricultural matters in Australasia that ran from 1913 to 1977.

Each year, in early summer, The Pastoral Review hosts a two-day conference on theology and faith at St Mary’s Campus, focusing on serving the Gospel in parish life, schools, homes, and workplaces. The event includes workshops and lectures on scripture, theology, art, media, outreach, and related topics.

The journal publishes four volumes each year and is available on iTunes in English, French, and Spanish. Official website.
