Peter Southey

Peter Charles Southey (4 January 1962 – 28 December 1983) was an English footballer who played as a full back for Tottenham Hotspur. Born in Parsons Green, England, he joined Tottenham as an apprentice in October 1979 and made one first-team league appearance for the club, against Brighton & Hove Albion. He also played for England Under-20s in 1981, earning two caps. Southey died from leukemia in 1983 at the age of 21.
