Martin Hale
Martin Hale (12 August 1943 – 12 November 2022) was an English rugby union player who played as a winger. He was born in Birmingham and attended Solihull School. He starred for Moseley, scoring 48 tries in the 1967–68 season. Hale earned three England caps between 1969 and 1970, making his debut against the Springboks at Twickenham in 1969 and playing again in the 1970 Five Nations. He turned down an offer to switch to rugby league with Swinton and later joined Bath in 1972. He died on 12 November 2022 at the age of 79.
