Babysitters on Acid is the debut album by the American punk rock band Lunachicks. It was released in 1990 by Blast First Records and recorded in 1989–1990. The album runs 39 minutes and 6 seconds and was produced by Wharton Tiers. The Lunachicks followed it with Binge & Purge in 1992, and a Go-Kart Records reissue came out in 2001. Critics had mixed views: AllMusic said the album didn’t say much but delivered it with humor and punk energy; Exclaim! called it a goofy early record that isn’t worth heavy criticism; Louder described it as a bright, chaotic classic of ramshackle excess and high-concept humor.
