The yellow-rumped siskin (Spinus uropygialis) is a small finch in the Fringillidae family. It lives in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Peru. It prefers moist montane forests and high-altitude shrublands. It is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN, meaning it is not currently at risk of extinction. Scientific name: Spinus uropygialis. It has also been called Sporagra uropygialis or Carduelis uropygialis in the past.
