Peter G. Christie (March 9, 1941 – May 31, 2021) was a Canadian accountant and politician in Nova Scotia. He represented Bedford-Fall River and then Bedford in the Nova Scotia Legislature as a Progressive Conservative from 1999 to 2006.

He served as Mayor of Bedford from 1988 to 1991. Born in Halifax, he studied at Dalhousie University. He was married to Joan Wilson and earned the Certified Management Accountant designation. He worked as vice president of finance for H. H. Marshall Ltd.

Christie first ran for provincial office in 1998 but lost to Francene Cosman. He won in 1999 and was named Minister of Community Services in August 1999. In December 2002, he became Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations. After the 2003 election, he was named Minister of Finance. In February 2006, when Rodney MacDonald became premier, Christie was not kept in the cabinet as he planned to retire from politics.

He died in Bedford on May 31, 2021, at the age of 80.
