Penicillium miczynskii
Penicillium miczynskii is a fungus in the genus Penicillium. It belongs to the family Aspergillaceae, order Eurotiales, class Eurotiomycetes, and division Ascomycota. The species was described by K. M. Zalessky in 1927 and was isolated from soil under conifers in Poland. Penicillium miczynskii produces citreoviridin, a toxic compound. It has also been referred to as Penicillium sulfureum.
