Amalie Smith
Amalie Smith, born 24 August 2009 in Tonbridge, Kent, is a British swimmer who competes in individual medley and breaststroke. In 2025, she won two gold medals at the European Junior Championships in Šamorín: the 200m individual medley in a championship record of 2:12.62, and the 400m individual medley in 4:37.02, making her the fastest 15-year-old British swimmer in that event. At the World Aquatics Junior Championships in Otopeni, she won two silvers: the 400m IM in 4:35.49 (behind Agostina Hein of Argentina, who set a new championship record 4:34.34) and the 200m IM in 2:11.07, a British age-group record for 15-year-olds.
