Hugh Alexander Bryson (August 21, 1912 – October 13, 1987) was a Canadian farmer, insurance agent and politician. He was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Bryson was elected to the House of Commons in 1953 as a member of the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) for the Humboldt—Melfort riding. He was re-elected in 1957. He lost his seat in 1958 and again in 1962 when running in Humboldt—Melfort—Tisdale. The Humboldt—Melfort riding was created in 1952 from parts of Humboldt, Melfort and Yorkton. Bryson died in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of 75. The CCF later became the New Democratic Party (NDP).
