Paulina Gálvez (Miss International)
Paulina Margarita Gálvez Pineda (born April 23, 1980) is a Salvadoran-Colombian model and beauty queen. She was born in Antiguo Cuscatlán, La Libertad, El Salvador, to Colombian parents from Pasto in the Nariño region.
She held national titles including Miss Colombia 1998 and Miss International Colombia 1998. Representing Colombia, she won the Miss International pageant in 1999 in Tokyo, Japan, becoming the second Colombian to win the title. At Miss International 1999, she was also named Miss Photogenic.
In Miss International history, she succeeded Lía Borrero as winner in 1999 and was later succeeded by Vivian Urdaneta in 2000.
