Paul Delaney (hurler)
Paul Delaney (born 27 November 1966) is a retired Irish hurler from Roscrea, County Tipperary. He played as a right corner-back for the Tipperary senior team from 1986 to 1997, making 26 appearances and scoring 0-19.
He started with Roscrea at junior levels and later joined the senior club, but did not win a county championship with them. Delaney’s inter-county career began with the Tipperary minor team in 1984, and he won an All-Ireland Under-21 medal in 1985. His senior breakthrough came in 1991 when he won an All-Ireland medal. He also collected five Munster medals, one National League title, and one All-Star award. He represented Munster in the Railway Cup, earning a medal there as well.
Off the field, Delaney is a Manchester United fan and enjoys golf at his Roscrea club.
