Senga Falls
Senga Falls (Senga-taki) is a 30-meter-tall waterfall in northern Kōfu, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. It flows on the Arakawa River, an upper tributary of the Fuji River, in the Shōsenkyō canyon.
The canyon is officially protected as a Special Place of Scenic Beauty by the Japanese government. Senga Falls was named one of Japan’s Top 100 Waterfalls by the Ministry of the Environment in 1990.
The site is easy to visit: there is a parking lot nearby, and about a five-minute walk will bring you to the falls. It attracts many visitors, especially during autumn foliage season.
