Oscar Milani (born November 24, 1946, in Rosario, Argentina) is an Argentine musician who specializes in the harpsichord and other early keyboard instruments. After earning a Bariloche Foundation scholarship, he moved to Buenos Aires to study harpsichord, chamber music, and early music interpretation.

As a soloist and with Camerata Bariloche, he toured across South America and Europe. He has made recordings for ORF and Picks Records. Milani built one of Argentina’s first harpsichords based on historical designs (the 1574 Baffo model), which earned praise from the European press. Claudio Di Veroli helped him.

A German DAAD grant allowed him to continue studying in Europe, where he studied with Kenneth Gilbert in Stuttgart and attended courses with Marinette Extermann, Johann Sonnleitner, Colin Tilney, and Bob van Asperen. With Gabriel Garrido, he organized early music classes in Neuburg an der Donau for more than ten years.

Since 1981 he has taught harpsichord, chamber music, and continuo at the Hochschule in Nuremberg, and since 1993 at the Fachakademie für Kirchenmusik in Bayreuth. He also performs modern works and has recorded pieces by Ástor Piazzolla (adapted for harpsichord with Mario Raskin), Hugo Distler, and Frank Martin.

Milani has performed at major venues such as the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, the Semperoper in Dresden, the Liederhalle in Stuttgart, the Salle Cortot in Paris, the Meistersinger Conservatorium and Meistersingerhalle, the Martha Kirche in Nuremberg, and the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. His latest recording is the harpsichord sonatas by Padre Martini of Bologna.
