Orthotylus tenellus is a small true bug in the Miridae family. It can be found across many parts of Europe and some areas in Asia. The species was described by Fallén in 1807.

Description
- Adults are about 4 to 4.5 millimetres long.
- They are active from June to August.
Ecology
- These bugs feed on trees such as oak, ash, and hazel.
Distribution
- Found across much of Europe and in some Asian countries, including the Benelux countries, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Moldova, Poland, Slovakia, the United Kingdom, and Scandinavia, as well as parts of Eastern Europe (except Lithuania and Russia) and northern areas of the former Yugoslavia.
