Bulgarian Social Democratic Workers' Party (Narrow Socialists) (Bulgarian: Българска работническа социалдемократическа партия (тесни социалисти)) was a Marxist, far-left political party in Bulgaria. It formed in 1903 after a split from the Bulgarian Workers' Social Democratic Party; the other faction became the Bulgarian Social Democratic Workers' Party (Broad Socialists). Led by Dimitar Blagoev, the Narrow Socialists focused on building a party among industrial workers and supported revolutionary socialism, including confiscating private property, which limited their electoral appeal. In 1909 the Social Democratic Union 'Proletarian', expelled from the Narrow Socialists, merged into the Broad Socialist party. At the Zimmerwald Conference they backed the Zimmerwald Left, opposed World War I, and were sympathetic to the Russian October Revolution. Under Bolshevik influence they accepted Leninism. In 1919 they applied to join the Communist International, and upon joining were reorganised as the Bulgarian Communist Party.
