2018 Sun Belt Conference baseball tournament
The 2018 Sun Belt Conference baseball tournament was held at M. L. Tigue Moore Field on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana, from May 22 to May 27, 2018. The event used a double-elimination format. For 2018, the top ten teams based on conference results earned invites, and they were seeded by conference winning percentage, with the bottom four seeds in a play-in round. The remaining eight teams played in two bracketed, double-elimination sections, with the winner of each bracket advancing to the championship final.
Coastal Carolina won the tournament, earning the Sun Belt’s automatic bid to the 2018 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. The team was coached by Gary Gilmore, who earned his first tournament title, and Zach Biermann of Coastal Carolina was named the tournament MVP.
