Ocauçu is a small municipality in the southeast Brazilian state of São Paulo. It covers about 300 square kilometers and has a population of around 4,291 people (2020). The town sits at an elevation of 551 meters and is in the time zone UTC−3 (BRT). Its coordinates are about 22°26′20″S, 49°59′22″W.

For telecommunications, Ocauçu was served by Companhia de Telecomunicações do Estado de São Paulo until 1973, when Telecomunicações de São Paulo took over. In 1998, Telefónica bought the company and later adopted the Vivo brand in 2012. Vivo currently provides mobile, landline, internet (fiber/4G), and television services in the area.
