North Bromsgrove High School is a coeducational upper school and sixth form in the centre of Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, England. It serves students aged 13 to 18 (Years 9–13) from local middle schools and beyond. About 1,009 pupils are enrolled, including 203 in the sixth form. The headteacher is Nick Gibson, who has held the role since 2019. The school motto is Studies Determine Character.

History and status:
The school traces back to Bromsgrove County High School, a coed grammar school. It became a comprehensive in 1970, bringing together students from Catshill, Parkside and Watt Close. The campus was rebuilt in 2007 under a PFI project and it was designated a specialist Media Arts College.

Facilities:
The school has five acres of playing fields, a sports hall, a gym, a dance studio, an Apple Mac suite, a drama studio, equipment for music technology, a radio station, and science laboratories. The creative suite includes two food rooms, two design and technology rooms, a textiles room and three art and photography rooms, plus a specialist kiln and light room with two technicians. Five computer suites support Business Studies, Computing, Film Studies, Health and Criminology. The modern foreign languages department offers French and Spanish. There is a house system with four houses: Churchill, Attenborough, Rowling and Earhart. The school also runs a mainstream autism base for 10 children and has a large sixth form offering A Levels and Level 3 qualifications.

Extra-curricular and community:
North Bromsgrove runs a wide range of activities, including the Duke of Edinburgh Award. In 2020 the school made a film celebrating local heroes. The new building was officially opened by ex-pupil actor Mark Williams, who established the Alan Holden Performing Arts Award for the student showing the most dedication to the performing arts.

Feeder schools and admissions:
The main feeder middle schools are Parkside and Catshill, with many students also coming from Alvechurch, Aston Fields and St John’s, among other nearby areas. A large number of students continue to the sixth form, and applications are welcome from students from other schools as well.
