Suite française, or French Suite, FP 80, is a 1935 orchestral work by Francis Poulenc. It is written for wind instruments, percussion, and harpsichord (or harp if desired) and has seven movements. The piece is in a neoclassical style and was written for Édouard Bourdet's play La Reine Margot. It was inspired by Claude Gervaise's Renaissance dance collection Le livre de danceries. Scoring includes 2 oboes, 2 bassoons, 2 trumpets, 3 trombones, snare drum, bass drum, cymbals, and harpsichord.
