The Nepal Mathematical Society (NMS) is a professional group of mathematicians in Nepal. It was founded in January 1979 to promote excellence in mathematics through study, teaching, research, and practical applications. The society is based in Kirtipur, Kathmandu.

Today, NMS has about 1,200 life members worldwide and offers both life and honorary memberships. Members typically hold at least a master’s degree in mathematical sciences or mathematics education.

NMS publishes two periodicals: the Journal of Nepal Mathematical Society and the Nepal Mathematical Society Newsletter. It also organizes seminars, conferences, and training programs each year to support mathematics education and research. The society has a reciprocity relationship with the American Mathematical Society.
