Le Plagnal
Le Plagnal is a small commune in southern France, in the Ardèche department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It lies in the Haute-Ardèche area, near the town of Largentière. The village sits high in the mountains, with elevations between 1,056 and 1,463 meters (about 3,465 to 4,800 feet). The area is 116.07 square kilometers. In 2023, 66 people lived there, giving a low population density of about 4 people per square kilometer. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Denise Laffarre. The postal code is 07590 and the INSEE code is 07175. In Occitan, the place is called Lo Planhau.
