Uppsala International Short Film Festival is an annual event in Uppsala, Sweden, started in 1982. The festival screens more than 300 short films and hosts lectures and seminars about Swedish film, culture and history. Filmmakers and industry professionals from Sweden and abroad attend. The main award is the Uppsala Grand Prix. Since 2002, the winners of the Uppsala Grand Prix and the Uppsala Film Jackdaw for Best Children's Film have been eligible for an Academy Award nomination.
