Division of Chemical Health and Safety (DCHAS) is a division of the American Chemical Society that focuses on health and safety in chemistry. It was founded in 1979 and is based in Washington, D.C., United States. DCHAS has about 1,700 members and uses English. It works with sister organizations such as the ACS Committee on Chemical Safety, AIChE's Center for Process Safety, Campus Safety, the Health and Environmental Association, and the AIHA Laboratory Safety Committee. DCHAS also gives out awards.
