Municipality of North Cypress-Langford
North Cypress – Langford is a rural municipality in Manitoba, Canada. It sits northeast and east of Brandon, with Neepawa to its north and Canadian Forces Base Shilo nearby. The municipality was created on January 1, 2015, by merging the Rural Municipalities of Langford and North Cypress, as part of Manitoba’s requirement that small municipalities combine to reach a minimum population of 1,000. In 2021, 3,011 people lived there, living in 902 of the 963 private homes, up 9.7% from 2016. The area covers about 1,762 square kilometers, giving a population density of roughly 1.7 people per square kilometer. The region observes Central Time (UTC−6, UTC−5 in summer).
