Peruvians in Italy
Peruvians began arriving in Italy in the 1980s. They mainly live in Lombardy, Lazio and Piedmont. The languages spoken are Italian and Spanish, and the main religion is Roman Catholicism. In 2006 there were 66,506 Peruvians in Italy, and by 2019 the number was about 97,128. The largest Peruvian communities are in Milan, Rome and Turin.
