Mukasipidariyur
Mukasipidariyur is a small town panchayat in Perundurai taluk, Erode district, Tamil Nadu, India. It covers about 14 square kilometers and had a population of 14,143 in 2011, up from 11,012 in 2001. The town is governed by a town panchayat headed by an elected chairperson and lies in the north‑western part of Tamil Nadu. It is part of the Perundurai Assembly constituency and the Tiruppur Lok Sabha constituency.
In 2011 there were 4,362 households, with 7,108 men and 7,035 women. About 1,132 residents were under six years old. The literacy rate was 75.3%. Around 9.5% of people belong to Scheduled Castes. About 60.7% of the eligible population are employed, mainly in farming and related activities. The population is predominantly Hindu (98.2%), with Christians (1.2%) and Muslims (0.4%) also present.
