International Society of Criminology
International Society of Criminology (ISC) is a global learned society that supports research and education in criminology and criminal justice. It is a non-governmental organization.
Founded in Rome, Italy, on July 16, 1937, by Agostino Gemelli and Arturo Rocco. The founding president was Mariano d’Amelio; Giovanni Novelli was the first vice president, and Benigno di Tullio the first secretary general.
