Muktha George, also known as Bhanu, is an Indian actress who works in Malayalam and Tamil films. Born in Kolenchery, Kerala, she comes from Angamaly as the youngest of two children to George and Saly; she has an elder sister. She studied at St. Augustine's Girls Higher Secondary School in Kothamangalam.

Muktha started as a child artist in class six and appeared in the TV serial Swaram on Amrita TV before moving to films. Her first film role was a supporting part in Otta Nanayam (2005). Her first lead role came in Achanurangatha Veedu (2005) as Lisamma, a role praised as one of Malayalam cinema’s enduring female parts. She later acted in the Telugu film Photo opposite Anand and Anjali, and made a successful entry into Tamil cinema with Thaamirabharani opposite Vishal. She also appeared in Malayalam films Nasrani and Goal, and played an established actress in the Tamil film Pudhumugangal Thevai. In Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal, she played Mallika, a feisty young woman from a fishing community; for the role she spent a month on the beach to tan and learned the Nagercoil Tamil slang.

In 2013, she signed her first Kannada film, Darling, opposite Yogi. Muktha got engaged to Rinku Tomy on 23 August 2015 and married him on 30 August 2015 in Edappally. She is a trained classical dancer, has done many stage shows, and also runs a beauty salon. Muktha and Rinku Tomy have one child; her sister-in-law is singer Rimi Tomy.
