Monteith Correctional Complex

Monteith Correctional Complex is a medium/maximum security prison in Monteith, Ontario, Canada. It sits in Monteith, a community within Iroquois Falls, Ontario. The facility has a capacity of 232 inmates and opened in 1938. It is operated by Ontario’s Ministry of the Solicitor General. During World War II, the complex detained German prisoners and was known as Monteith POW Camp 23.
