Chung Myung-hee
Chung Myung-hee (born January 27, 1964) is a retired South Korean badminton player who dominated the sport in the late 1980s and early 1990s. She won nine All England Open titles—four in women's doubles and five in mixed doubles. She teamed with Park Joo-bong to take gold in mixed doubles at the IBF World Championships in 1989 and 1991. She also earned silver in women's doubles at the 1989 World Championships with Hwang Hye-young, and won silver and bronze at the 1987 World Championships in mixed doubles and women's doubles, respectively. Chung was inducted into the Badminton Hall of Fame in 2003.
