Ricardo Valdéz Bustamante is a Mexican professional basketball player who plays as a shooting guard. He is 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m) tall and weighs 220 lb (100 kg). Born May 23, 1994, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, he attended the Autonomous University of Chihuahua. Valdéz started his pro career in 2019 with the Mexico City Capitanes in the LNBP after going undrafted in 2017. He has since played for several teams: Vaqueros de Agua Prieta (2020), Abejas de León (2020–2021), Centauros de Chihuahua (2021), Dorados de Chihuahua (2022, and again from 2025–present), Santos del Potosí (2023), Apaches de Chihuahua (2024), and Plateros de Fresnillo (2024). In 2024, he was named to the preliminary list of the Mexican national team for the FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments.
