Maryam Yakubova (educator)

Maryam Yakubova (Uzbek: Maryam Yoqubova) (12 May 1931 – 10 April 2018) was an Uzbek educator and teacher.

She grew up in Urgench and studied at Urgench No.1 School, graduating with honors in 1948. She earned a degree from the Khorezm Pedagogical State Institute in 1952 as a mathematics and physics teacher, then returned to Urgench No.1 School to teach until 1958.

From 1958 to 1962, she led the Urgench city department of public education. She then served as the director of Health Boarding School No. 94 in Urgench until 1992.
