Manduca dalica
Manduca dalica is a moth in the family Sphingidae. It is found in parts of South and Central America, including Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela and Costa Rica.
Appearance and size
The moth has a wingspan of 120–135 mm. The upper side is generally dark, with a mottled white base on the forewings and a similar white pattern across the rear part of the thorax. A large, prominent white discal spot and a whitish mark near the wing tip (apex) help identify it.
