Maizières is a small commune in the Haute-Marne department in north-eastern France, in the Grand Est region. It is part of the Saint-Dizier arrondissement and the Eurville-Bienville canton, and belongs to the Grand Saint-Dizier, Der et Vallées intercommunalité. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Ode Chevaillier. The area covers 111.7 square kilometers. In 2023, 185 people lived there, giving a population density of about 15.8 inhabitants per square kilometer. The village sits at about 260 meters above sea level. Its coordinates are roughly 48.4939°N, 5.0678°E.
