Shout to the Lord is a live Hillsong album released in 1996. It was recorded in 1995 at the Hills Entertainment Centre in Sydney, Australia. The album is about 54 minutes long and was produced by Russell Fragar and Darlene Zschech. It marks Hillsong Music’s seventh recording and their fifth live album.

This release is notable for being the first Hillsong album released by Integrity Music’s Hosanna! Music to feature a female worship leader, Darlene Zschech. It helped start a long relationship with Integrity Music that gave Hillsong greater exposure in North America and around the world.

Shout to the Lord was recorded during mid-1995, after Geoff Bullock left the church shortly before the recording. Zschech, who had been the Vocal Director, stepped in as worship leader for the project, making history as the first female worship leader on a Hosanna! Music album. The sound of the album comes mainly from Zschech’s vocals and the Hillsong team, with strong piano work and direction from Russell Fragar.

The arrangements are polished and blend influences from gospel, jazz, funk, rock, and disco. Notable musicians on the album include Mark Gregory (trumpet), David Moyse (guitar), Ian Fisher (bass), Craig Gower (keys/vocals), and several vocalists such as Lucy Fisher, Donia Gondjou, Lisa Young, Robert Eastwood, Scott Haslem, and Steve McPherson.
