Monthuchon is a small commune in the Manche department of Normandy, northwestern France. It lies about 5 km north of Coutances on the D971 road near the Cherbourg peninsula. The parish church, dedicated to Saint Martin, dates from the 16th century. The area covers 17.66 square kilometers and had about 705 residents in 2023. Elevation ranges from 69 to 176 meters above sea level. Monthuchon is part of the Coutances arrondissement and canton and belongs to the Coutances Mer et Bocage intercommunality. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Jacques Marie. The INSEE code is 50345 and the postal code is 50200.
