Alyona Osmanova
Alyona Osmanova is a Ukrainian model born March 31, 1988. She rose to fame in 2006 with a major feature in V magazine. Her first big runway season was Spring 2007, walking for Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, Prada, Miu Miu, Chanel and Givenchy. She appeared in Teen Vogue in December 2006 and was photographed for Dazed & Confused. In 2007 she walked for designers like Jonathan Saunders, John Galliano and Max Mara and appeared on the covers of Vogue Russia and V. She shot campaigns for Marc Jacobs and appeared on Oprah’s cover. In 2008 she walked for many top houses, did Lacoste campaigns, and became the face of Bottega Veneta. She later joined Ford Models and, in 2009, walked for Carolina Herrera and Jason Wu, with more magazine work. She spent a period with Ford Plus as a plus-size model before returning to standard editorial work with Women Management in 2013, debuting again on the Giorgio Armani runway. She is friends with several fellow models, such as Anabela Belikova and Irina Kulikova.
