Mârzănești is a commune in Teleorman County, in the Muntenia region of Romania. It is made up of four villages: Cernetu, Mârzănești, Teleormanu, and Valea Părului. The area covers 88.2 square kilometers and sits about 65 meters above sea level. As of December 1, 2021, around 3,200 people lived there. The mayor for 2020–2024 is Viorel Mihăilă of the PNL party.
