Port of Oltenița

Port of Oltenița is a major Romanian river port located in the city of Oltenița, Călărași County, on the Danube River. It covers about 88.7 hectares (887,000 m²) and has two berths. The port is owned by Administratia Porturilor Dunarii Fluviale and serves as a natural/artificial harbour on the Danube. In 2008, it handled about 525,000 tonnes of cargo. The general manager is Ofiteru Danut.
