Lombricine kinase
Lombricine kinase is an enzyme that transfers a phosphate group from ATP to lombricine. The reaction it catalyzes is: ATP + lombricine → ADP + N-phospholombricine. It belongs to the transferase family, specifically phosphotransferases that transfer a phosphorus-containing group to a nitrogen-containing acceptor. Its systematic name is ATP:lombricine N-phosphotransferase. Lombricine kinase participates in the metabolism of glycine, serine, and threonine.
