First Wave is a Canadian science-fiction drama created by Chris Brancato, with Francis Ford Coppola as executive producer. It aired on Space Channel and was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia. The show follows Cade Foster (Sebastian Spence) as he fights to stop a secret alien invasion. The U.S. Sci‑Fi Channel later picked it up and ordered 66 episodes. It ran from September 9, 1998, to February 7, 2001, for three seasons. In the story, Joshua helps uncover traitors among Earth’s acolytes.
